Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 October 2026
Sumigrid has no accounts on our side and no server that stores your progress. The web game has no ads and no analytics. The Android app shows ads, measures how the game is played, and can back up your progress to your own Google account if you sign in with Google Play Games.
Who we are
Sumigrid is a nonogram puzzle game published by Moonbrew Game Studio, Indonesia. Questions about this policy: [email protected].
What stays on your device
The game saves your progress (solved levels and best times, daily puzzle results, streak and hints), your settings (auto-X and theme) and the puzzle you are playing on your device. On the web it also keeps the days you played the daily puzzle, for the weekly play allowance. This data is never sent to us. Clearing the site's data in your browser, or uninstalling the app, deletes it.
The web game
The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of each request. We do not use this data to identify you. See the Cloudflare privacy policy. The web game sets no cookies and uses no trackers, advertising IDs or analytics.
The Android app
Ads (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads from Google AdMob: an ad between levels now and then, and rewarded ads you can choose to watch for hints, an extra heart or to save a streak. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google collects your device's advertising ID, an approximate location based on your IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app asks for your consent first; you can change your choice at any time under "Ad privacy settings" on the home screen. Anywhere, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
To learn how the game is played and make it better, the app sends usage events to Google Analytics for Firebase, such as finishing the tutorial, starting and finishing a puzzle, and ads shown or watched. Firebase also records an app instance ID, your device model and Android version, and an approximate location based on your IP address. It does not receive your name or email address. We look only at combined reports.
Google Play Games (optional)
If you sign in with Google Play Games, the app receives your Play Games player ID and display name, and saves your progress to Saved Games in your own Google account, so you can continue after reinstalling or on a new phone. We cannot see this data; Google stores it under the Google Privacy Policy. You can sign out at any time, and delete the saved data in your Google Play Games settings. Without signing in, the game works the same, and your progress stays only on your device.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app schedules a daily reminder for the new puzzle on your phone. Nothing is sent to a server for this, and you can turn reminders off in the app or in your Android settings.
Sharing your daily result
The Share button hands a short text (the date, your time, streak and a grid of colored squares) to your device's share menu or clipboard. We do not receive it; where it goes is up to you.
Android testers
If you join our tester group on Google Groups, we see the name and email address of the Google account you join with. We use them only to run the closed test of the Android app, and you can leave the group at any time.
Children
Sumigrid is a game for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
We do not keep personal data about you on our side, so there is nothing for us to look up, export or delete. For data processed by Google (ads, analytics and Play Games), use the controls above or your Google account settings, or write to us and we will help.
Changes
We will update this policy before Sumigrid processes data in new ways, and change the date at the top.
